Illuminated Letter — Watercolor Illustration

For this project, we were asked to choose a letterform and transform it into an illustrated scene. I selected the letter “O” and reimagined it as a submarine window framing an underwater octopus. The piece was painted traditionally using watercolor, allowing for soft gradients, layered texture, and an organic illustrative style. The goal of the project was to merge typography with narrative imagery, creating a letter that feels both functional and expressive.
