Watercolor Still Life — Bowl of Cherries

For this project, I selected a subject from reference photography and recreated it as a watercolor painting. I chose a close-up bowl of cherries, sketching the image to scale before painting. This piece focused on developing realistic color variation, shading, and perspective, using watercolor layering to capture highlights, depth, and surface texture.
