Children’s Book Cover Illustration — The Fox and the Hound

For this assignment, I selected a well-known children’s story and created an illustrated book cover for it. I chose The Fox and the Hound and illustrated a scene that highlights both main characters without revealing the full storyline. This project pushed me to focus on character emotion, animal expression, and stylized painting techniques. It also helped me step outside my usual realistic, human-based subjects and practice translating animated characters into a polished illustration.
